At least one cross-country skier was naughty (and it only takes one) because we got a hard thaw for Christmas. Back to dryland until the next snow comes. Happy holidays regardless...

We got only sleet last night. Trails should be rock skiable. Good skiing at Queensbury and Kensington schools, while it lasts. Check back Thurs. for conditions post thaw.

Still Skiing
Sorry out of town so had not posted. We still have 12cm snow on the measuring stick. Not sure how Cole's Woods is holding up, but crust skiing on fields is a lot of fun. Kensington School is groomed, Queensbury should be, will check, but at least good crust skiing while the cold holds until the coming thaw on Wednesday.

We had on Wed. more snow than rain and yesterday more rain than snow but it all frozen today so good at least rock skiing base. Cold and sunny today will report back if trails get groomed. New equipment will be ready next week.
