Monday Dec 19th - skiable with fair conditions
The 5K course has been smoothed out and is skiable with a dry granular surface for skating, and tracks laid for classic. Classic folks will want to use blue klister. There are a couple frozen puddles between Dixon Court and Northup and between Dead Fox Hill and Rooty, but snow cover is no worse than before this recent storm. Get out and enjoy!

Update - grooming today
As stated, trails are rolled, but no classic tracks set since snow is not deep enough yet. Lights on Tuesday evening.
Trails groomed - the ski season starts!
After last night's 6 inches of snow, our groomers have rolled the trails so go out and try them! However, the lights will not be on until tomorrow/Tuesday evening.

Trail day
On Saturday, November 5th, about a dozen volunteers spent 3 hours repairing, widening and improving trails at Cole's Woods. If the snow comes this year, the trails will be wonderful!

Good riddance El NiƱo
After the winter that wasn't, we can find solace in the fact that we won't have two El Nino's in a row...so next winter must surely be snowier than this one.

Not great but skiable
Hey everyone, I got out and groomed this morning. The 5k loop is a mix of thin loose granular and ice. The snow isn't great, but it's skiable.

2/17 Update
We are waiting for the water to drain out of the snow at this point. Grooming should begin this evening when temperatures drop.
