Ungroomed, rock skis, skating recommended since the classic skis will ice.

We started to pick up wet snow around 11AM and it snowed quite well throughout the afternoon.  Trails are well covered except for the usual problem areas where there is too much shade from the trees.  Because the snow today would only stick to the old snow underneath, bare areas remained bare.  It is supposed to continue snowing tonight so let's see what we get tomorrow morning.

Trails improved!

Almost all the trails in Cole's Woods have been improved. They removed roots, flattened, and widened the trails. We are looking forward to skating season next winter.

Maybe we'll get a biathlon penalty lap.
